Holtkamp Heating & Air Receives Another 5 Star Review

This is a review posted by JimK56 on 4/20/2012 on Kudzu.com: “Honest – Reliable Service – 5 stars out of 5 I’ve been using Holtkamp for a few years now and can highly recommend their service.  I first hired them to replace my 15 year old builder installed HVAC.  In the process they corrected problems with the builders original duct work and installed a new high efficiency unit from Trane.   Now my house is more comfortable than it had ever been and my utility bills are significantly lower. I HIGHLY recommend Holtkamp Heating and Air.” To read all the latest Kudzu.com reviews for Holtkamp Heating & Air, click here. Thanks Jim and it’s our pleasure to continue serving you in the years to come!

All Lifetime Warranties Are Not Equal

Thanks to Bob, a recent customer, who called and asked us to explain our Lifetime Warranty in a little more detail. Bob has seen and heard a few other HVAC companies advertising their “Lifetime Warranty” and wanted to know if they were the same. We always appreciate questions from customer, especially questions like these. The simple answer is “not all lifetime warranties are created equal”. We can’t speak for the other guys; you’ll have to call them and ask for documentation. The Holtkamp Lifetime Parts & Labor Warranty is backed by a $100,000 surety bond that is on file with the State of Georgia, Insurance Commissioner. Many so called Lifetime Warranties are simply a person’s or company’s word that you’re covered. It pays to check it out. To learn more about our Lifetime Warranty, read on here. And remember, Lifetime Comfort is Easy with Holtkamp Heating & Air!

Holtkamp Home School Day Packs the House

It was a bright sunny, ridiculously WARM day in February when the Aurora Theatre and Holtkamp Heating & Air once again opened its doors to local homeschool families. Hey, if we’re not busy fixing your furnace or heatpump, then let’s have some fun! Families were asked to bring 5 food items for local food banks as part of the Gwinnett CAN Challenge sponsored by Holtkamp Heating & Air. These last two shows of “If You Give a Mouse a Cookie” (part of the Aurora Theatre’s Learning Library series) were sold out as audiences both young and old enjoyed the always professional and incredible productions from the Aurora Theatre. Be sure to “Like” us on Facebook and receive notification of the next Holtkamp Homeschool Day at the Aurora. Can’t wait to see you there!

Girl Scouts at World Thinking Day 2012 Accept the Gwinnett CAN Challenge

Saturday, February 25 was the day that the Girl Scouts descended upon the Gwinnett Environmental & Heritage Center for World Thinking Day 2012. If you have never attended a WTD, it’s a trip around the world for about $1. (At least that’s what Jason West, Director of Development for the Center says!) Each troop participating in the day set up a table representing a certain country and visitors were given a “passport” which they used to travel around the world and sample food from each country. And of course, this was a Gwinnett CAN Challenge event thanks to Angie West who organized the World Thinking Day. Over 400 food items were collected during the day from participating scouts and parents. As well, over a dozen troops have participated in the Gwinnett CAN Challenge in the last 18 months. Great job girls! Can’t wait to see what you do in 2012!

Holtkamp Heating & Air’s CAN Challenge Collects More Than 30 Tons of Food For Gwinnett Food Banks

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE January 31, 2012 Lilburn Boy Scout Troop 509 Named CAN Challenge 2011 Champion GWINNETT COUNTY, GA – Holtkamp Heating & Air Conditioning, the leading HVAC company in Suwanee, Ga., recently announced the results of its first-annual Gwinnett CAN Challenge. The company collected an astounding amount, more than 31 tons of food, far surpassing its original goal of 10 tons. This year’s Challenge winner was Boy Scout Troop 509, out of Lilburn, which donated more than 10,000 items. “We are thrilled that we were able to collect such a large amount of food and that so many individuals, non profits and businesses participated,” said Suzanne Holtkamp, vice president of marketing and operations. “We started the CAN Challenge to help raise awareness about our community’s crucial food needs. Our food banks struggle to stay stocked all year because people tend to think about donating during the holidays and forget food is needed year round.” The CAN Challenge winner, Boy Scout Troop 509, started collecting food last April. Becky Knake, troop committee member, had organized food drives before and encouraged the 20-plus boys to participate in the CAN Challenge. “Getting the community involved through the CAN Challenge is a wonderful […]
