The Hudgens Center for Art & Learning is pleased to announce the significant results of a 5-year strategic partnership with Holtkamp Heating & Air. In addition to generously sponsoring free admission to the galleries for five years, which has generated thousands of new visitors, the Holtkamp team also serviced all of the facility’s HVAC systems and maintained 18 smart thermostats at no charge to maximize energy efficiency.
Through a combination of donated services, significant energy savings, private gifts and free admission, the Holtkamp’s support represents close to a quarter million dollars in the first five years of partnership.
According to Hudgens Center Executive Director Laura Ballance, “Holtkamp Heating & Air has been a great friend and supporter of the Hudgens for the past five years. Thanks to their generous partnership, admission is free to visitors of the Hudgens’ five galleries, our 28,000sf Sculpture Garden and the interactive Children’s Art Zone, allowing us to truly serve as an inspiring, enriching resource, accessible to all in our community.”
“With approximately 8,500 gallery visitors annually, we have seen a tremendously positive impact on the growth and reach of the arts in our community thanks to their generosity.”
“Additionally, The Hudgens’ cost savings through the in-kind sponsorship equals roughly $40,000 per year. These funds, along with a generous donation from the Holtkamp Family Foundation, are allocated to the Hudgens mission-critical initiatives and outreach programs like Healing Arts, a program serving those living with a cancer diagnosis, caregivers, the autistic community, developmentally disabled adults, and military vets, providing services through the arts at no cost to participants.”
“The extent of the outreach programs that the Hudgens now provides would absolutely not be possible without the support from the Holtkamp Family Foundation and Holtkamp Heating & Air. We currently provide free outreach through the arts to over 2,000 individuals and families each year.”
Holtkamp Heating & Air has provided residents of Gwinnett County and surrounding areas with indoor comfort and high-quality customer service for over 25 years. Owners Matthew and Suzanne Holtkamp have a strong commitment to the local arts community.
“We feel truly blessed to be a partner with the Hudgens,” said Suzanne Holtkamp. “Their history with our county and continued growth makes them an invaluable part of life here in Gwinnett. The Healing Arts program is especially dear to our hearts as we walk beside our fellow residents during these past few years. We look forward to even better things to come in 2023!”
